Client Success - Steven's Weight Loss Story
Steven's Story:
"In 2 years, I gained almost 100 lbs. I purposely started calling off work and school because I was ashamed of myself, my body, and who I had become. After skipping 3 years of physical exams, my doctor told me that my blood pressure was through the roof, I was considered obese, and I was at risk of having a heart attack if I didn't change my lifestyle. Before OnPoint, I “committed” to losing weight 5 times, never lasting more than 3 months. I tried some strange diets, and was so fixated on losing weight, I lost sight of the big picture.”
Our Perspective:
Steven was eating all the wrong things, in all the wrong portions, at all the wrong times. His previous attempts at losing weight were unrealistic and never taught him the "hows" and "whys" of nutrition. It was our goal, as much as Steven's, to educate him on the fundamentals of nutrition and drop the weight he needed in order to live a healthier, more maintainable lifestyle.

December 2014 - 215 lbs
We first met with Steven December 28th 2014. At the young age of 26, he had unsuccessfully gained and lost weight 5 times, He dreaded simple daily tasks such as tieing his shoes, getting dressed, and socializing. He was out of control, frustrated and lacked the knowedge of how to lose weight off and keep it off. Steven knew that in order to really make a lasting change, he needed guidance and support. He came to OnPoint Nutrition ready to commit to a new lifestyle, a challenge we were excited to take on.

June 2015 - 161 lbs
Steven's weight loss journey was anything but easy. We Skyped twice a week for 6 months, working through dinners out, the occassional beer, shots of whiskey, WWE Smackdown parties, and the day to day challenges of his new lifestyle. When Steven shared his desire to run a half marathon in June, we were committed to getting him ready. At OnPoint, we could not be more proud of his acccomplishments and were honored to see him cross the finish line 55 pounds lighter than in December.
Steven is getting ready to meet his OnPoint Nutrition coach for the first time. He shares his concerns and determination to make this his last attempt at weight loss.
The day after meeting his coach, Steven walks us through his challenge of getting dressed for work.
Steven decides that a half marathon is in his future. Take a peek at day one of training.
In an effort to "eat clean", Steven decides to try a few snack bars from his local grocery store. This is his reaction to the Raw Revolution bar.
